Astwood closes for fishing following sale to new owners

The attractive three lake venue had been a popular day ticket and match fishery for many years and the closure follows the sale of the venue to new owners following the retirement of former owner Frank Kean who bought Astwood in 1990 . During his career Frank was head chef at the Chateau Impney Hotel in Droitwich before working for several years in the Middle East and North African where he developed accommodation ‘towns’ for employees in the oil and petrochemical industries before returning to the UK and taking over Astwood.
