Open Matches return to Birch House Lakes!
Great news for anglers – as well as regular club matches, Open Matches are now running again at Birch House Lakes! Perfect if you’re not part of a club but still want to take part in a fun, competitive day’s fishing.
Birch House Lakes is a large and varied pleasure and match fishery in Derbyshire, offering eight well-stocked lakes and plenty of convenient car parking close to the water. Anglers can expect quality fishing with carp up to the mid-20s and bream to 10lbs – ideal for both relaxed sessions and serious competition.
Everyone’s welcome – whether you’re a match fishing regular or just fancy giving it a go, these open events offer a great chance to enjoy the sport, meet fellow anglers, and maybe even walk away with bragging rights!
