Ian Heaps Premier FisheryIan Heaps launches 'Autumn Cup Festival 2004'

Former World Coarse Angling Champion Ian Heaps is to stage a six day angling Festival at his Ian Heaps Premier Fishery in what he describes as: "Probably the richest small match in the UK with a list of over 50 prizes over the three festival days."

Running from Sunday, October 17 to Saturday, October 23 inclusive, the Festival comprises three days of Festival matches plus three separate Open Matches on the days when the Festival Matches are not held.

Ian Heaps Premier FisheryOn each day of the Festival matches, every angler will fish a different lake and there will be prizes each day for each lake with the angler with the highest weight receiving 100, second place receiving 90, third 80, fourth 60 and fifth 50.

Over the three festival matches anglers will fish each of the three Holgan Springs lakes, accumulating points towards an overall Festival Champion who will receive 500 with the runner up getting 400, third place 300, fourth place 200 and fifth place 100.

Ian Heaps Premier FisheryIn addition to the cash payouts, the angler with the biggest fish over the three days of the Festival will receive a pole to the value of 500.

Entry for all three Festival Matches is 137.50.

On the three days the Festival Matches are not being held there will be an Open Match. Entry to these is 20 all-in per match.

Accommodation is avalable at local hotels, public houses and guest houses.

Closing date for entry is Tuesday, September 30.
