Angling Trust survey – the benefits of going fishing
In support of the current ‘Stress Awareness Month’, the Angling Trust is asking anglers to take a brief survey to highlight the benefits of going fishing. The survey closes on Sunday at midnight.
The results of the survey – part of the Angling Trust’s ‘Get Fishing for Wellbeing’ project which is funded by the Environment Agency and Sport England – will give Health Service professionals and Social Prescribing Link workers a better understanding of how going fishing can have a positive effect on mental health and wellbeing.
According to the Trust, angling offers the opportunity for people to escape from the demands of busy work and home life by surrounding themselves in nature and wildlife and provides an opportunity for people to rest their minds and reset.
The survey takes less than three minutes to complete and closes at midnight on Sunday, April 7. You can take part in it now by visiting https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/at-fish?dm_i=7KOI,2WX3,4KQ4X,BO5B,1
