Fishing at Lyons Gate is open daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, though please note that night fishing is strictly prohibited. Day tickets cost £6.00 for adults and £4.00 for children under 14. Young anglers under 14 must be accompanied by an adult and are restricted to fishing on Roy’s Lake and Crucian Lake. All anglers are required to hold a valid Environment Agency fishing licence before casting off. You can purchase your day ticket directly from the on-site shop during regular opening hours or from the bankside bailiff, though please carry cash if buying directly on the bank.
Turn your angling trip into a relaxing getaway with a stay at Lyons Gate Holiday Park, open annually from February 2nd through December 20th. The park fully accommodates touring caravans and campers, complete with convenient heated shower and toilet facilities alongside the on-site shop. For added comfort, holiday caravans sleeping four to six guests are also available for hire, offering the perfect base for an extended fishing break or a family holiday.
