Shallow eight acre estate lake offering fishing for carp, tench and roach and other silver fish

Key facts about Rood Ashton Lake

Attractive estate lake
Eight acres in size
Shallow water makes it easy to fish
Pay at Pay Station
Vehicle access to pegs in dry weather
Open all year
Good bagging water
Decent sized carp

An attractive and mature seven acre estate lake offering fishing for carp, tench and roach. However, despite its size, this is a shallow water. Fishing with either the Method feeder or floating baits will catch plenty of carp. For best results, fish the margins, especially where there is cover. Soft baits like meat and paste work best. Make sure they are large baits, as the fish run into double figures
