To make a reservation: West Pitt Farm asks guests to check availability by telephone and then to send a completed booking form accompanied by a deposit cheque for one third of the cottage tariff within seven days. Alternatively, the deposit may be paid over the telephone by credit card. The balance, together with a returnable security deposit of £100.00 for Farmhouse and Lake View Cottage or £75.00 for the Stables and the Hayloft, is due 30 days prior to the start date of the holiday payable by cheque or credit card. The security deposit is refundable following your stay providing the cottage is vacated in a clean and tidy condition and without any damage or breakages. A charge will be made should additional carpet cleaning be necessary.

Cheques: should be made payable to West Pitt Farm Holidays.

Cancellation: If, after making a reservation, the guest subsequently cancels a booking for any reason, the full amount of the tariff remains due. Guests are recommended to arrange their own holiday insurance to cover this possibility. West Pitt Farm will make every effort to relet the cottage and, if successful, will refund the amount they receive less a £25 administration charge.

Pets: Please check when making reservations as to acceptability. A charge of £25 per week will be made for one dog.

Smoking: All the cottages at West Pitt are non-smoking.

Linen: Full bed linen and duvets are provided. Bath, hand towels in the bathrooms and tea towels for the kitchen are also provided.

Arrival and departure times: West Pitt Farm's start days are Fridays. Short Break holidays may start on any day of the week depending on availability.

Arrival time is after 4.00pm and before 10.00pm on the start day of the holiday.

Guests are asked to vacate their cottage by 10.00am on the day of departure.

Cleaning: Guests are requested to leave their cottage clean and tidy before departing and advise of any breakages or damage.

Electricty: Electricity is included in the tariff for The Farmhouse. In the other accommodation payment is by meter - £1.00 coins.

Water: West Pitt Farm's own well provides fresh spring water to all cottages.

Fishing: Fishing on all lakes at West Pitt Farm is included in the tariff. Night fishing, however, is not allowed. A storage room is available for fishing equipment, together with a bait fridge.
