Cottage Booking: Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday, except for short breaks.

To make a reservation: Guests are asked to check availability by telephone and then send a completed booking form or confirmatory letter accompanied by a deposit cheque for one third of the cottage tariff within seven days. The balance, together with a returnable £100 security deposit (Lake View Cottage) or £75 (Stables and The Hayloft) is due 30 days prior to the start date of the holiday. (The security deposit is refunable at the end of your stay providing the cottage is vacated in a clean and tidy condition and without any damage or breakages. A charge will be made should additional carpet cleaning be necessary).

Cheques: should be made payable to West Pitt Farm Holidays.

Cancellation: If, after making a reservation, the guest subsequently cancels a booking for any reason, the deposit paid, less a £25 administration charge, will be refunded if and when the cottage is re-let for that booking.

Pets: Please check when making reservations as to acceptability. A charge of £25 per week will be made for one dog.

Linen: Full bed linen and duvets are provided. Bath, hand towels in the bathrooms and tea towels for the kitchen are also provided.

Arrival and departure times: West Pitt Farm's start days are Saturdays. Short Break holidays may start on any day of the week depending on availability.

Arrival time is after 4.00pm on the start day of the holiday.

Guests are asked to vacate their cottage by 10.00am on the day of departure.

Cleaning: Guests are requested to leave their cottage clean and tidy before departing and advise of any breakages or damage.

Electricty: Payment is by meter - £1.00 coins.

Water: West Pitt Farm's own well provides fresh spring water to all cottages.

Fishing: Fishing on all lakes at West Pitt Farm is included in the tariff. Night fishing, however, is not allowed. A storage room is available for fishing equipment, together with a bait fridge.
