Work starts on Watersmeet extension
Work has started on developing a 10-bedroom extension at the Watersmeet Motel and Angling Centre at Hartpury in Gloucestershire.
Expected to be completed late next summer, the new rooms will offer luxury accommodation with en-suite bathrooms and will almost double the capacity of this popular residents-only fishery which boasts carp to over 30lbs plus tench and bream to double figures. All the new rooms will overlook the venue's main carp pool.
In addition to the new rooms, two six-berth mobile homes with their own decking and verandahs are to be erected next one of the waters. Let as self-catering units, they will be equipped with mains water, heating, conventional toilets and will have a double bedroom and twin bedroom, bed settee in the large lounge plus kitchen and shower.
