Bolingey Lakes is a three lake pleasure and match day ticket fishery in Cornwall where pleasure anglers can catch over 100lbs of fish in a sitting.
Key facts about Bolingey Lakes
Until recently Bolingey Lakes was only available to anglers staying at the White Acres holiday park but as a result of recent changes it is now available to all anglers on day ticket.
With pleasure weights of over 100lb and match weights of more than 200lbs, this is a popular three lake fishery where the fish range from 1lb to 20lbs. Packed full of features, anglers should fish feeder or waggler with banded hard pellets or the short pole over loose-fed hemp. Fishing the margins with big baits later in the day works well for quality fish.
In addition to pleasure angling, Bolingey holds its own regular Friday and Sunday Open Matches where a £10.00 deposit is required with £15.00 pools money payable on the day.
Although there are few rules, in common with most other day ticket fisheries keepnets are not allowed and floating baits, meat baits and braid should not be used. Feeders, leads and Method feeders must also be free running.
The venue is open from 8.30am until 6.00pm every day.
