Riparian fishing rights & land
Wanted – Riverbank fishing rights within 1.5 hours drive of the New Forest, within Hampshire, Dorset, or Wiltshire – Budget up to £200,000
What our client is looking for
We are acting on behalf of a private buyer who is actively seeking to acquire a stretch of riverbank with associated riparian fishing rights for exclusive recreational use. The buyer is interested in coarse fishing and would like to buy for personal recreational use.
The buyer would ideally like to purchase within a location of 1.5-hours (90-minute) drive of the New Forest (Hythe, Southampton area). This area covers the major river systems of Hampshire, Dorset, and Wiltshire. Prime locations are particularly sought on the famous Rivers Test, Itchen, Meon, Avon, and Stour, or any of their high-quality tributaries.
The client’s budget for the right opportunity is set at up to £200,000. The acquisition can be a stand-alone stretch of bank with fishing rights only, or part of a larger land parcel.
We encourage riparian owners, estate agents, or private sellers with viable options—including freehold sales and potential long-term lease arrangements—to contact us urgently to discuss your riparian offering. All enquiries will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
