Due to a huge amount of interest from anglers the Angling Trust is hosting a Special Fisheries Forum to discuss The Environment Agency and Severn Rivers Trust 'Unlocking the Severn for People and Wildlife' project which includes finding fish passage solutions at Worcester's Powick Weir.
The meeting will take place on April 28, 2016 in The Croft Suite at Worcester Racecourse, Worcester WR1 3EJ. Tea and Coffee will be served from 6.45pm and the meeting starts at 7.15pm.
The Agenda will include: Overview of the 'Unlocking the Severn for People and Wildlife' Project by Tony Bostock, Chief Executive of the Severn Rivers Trust followed by a Question and Answer session with Tony. The Environment Agency will give a detailed presentation about the plans to find fish passage solutions at Powick Weir and this again will be followed by a Question and Answer session.
