Milton Pools Farm Great Milton Oxford Oxfordshire OX44 7JE Tel: 01844 278150 E-mail: milton_pools@hotmail.co.uk Anglers should be in possession of a current Environment Agency Licence(s) All nets to be dipped prior to fishing No surface fishing/floating baits on any of the pools (for the welfare of the fish) No dogs except guide dogs allowed Two rods maximum No movement of fish from lake to lake without permission of Milton Pools Fishery All fishermen should be courteous and ask other anglers the position of their lines Anybody found leaving their rods unattended in the water will be asked to leave the site and Milton Pools will take the responsibility of taking the rods out of the water Unhooking mats must be used at all times Minimum of 12lbs breaking strain must be used on the Specimen Lake No bent hook or nailer type hook rigs or lead core line. No braided main lines No use of braided lead, limpets or any such type of bottom line No carp sacks, tubes or keepnets to be used No barbed or semi-barbed hooks or hooks with the barbs crushed down No fixed rigs – rigs should be made up so that should a carp be entangled in a tree, only a short leader will be left in its mouth when the lines breaks All rods will be checked daily for barbed hooks and incorrect rigs, anybody found using these will be asked to leave No nuts or particles, except hemp (shop bought only) and sweetcorn Pike Fishing – no spinning and dead bait only (not from other waters) Failure to observe these rules or act in a way which interferes with the enjoyment of others will result in the offender being removed and banned permanently from the fishery
