Near to the heart of the Midlands motorway network yet situated in the countryside between Coventry and Leamington, Home Farm Bed and Breakfast is an ideal base for exploring some of the area's best known stillwater fisheries and rivers.
Literally just across the road from the two-lake Meadowlands Fishery, Home Farm is also within easy reach of several of the leading day-ticket commercial coarse fishing venues in the Midlands. For a full list of those covered by Fisheries.co.uk please follow this link.
Home Farm is run by husband and wife team Jane and Danny James, and as Danny has been a keen angler since childhood there will always be something to talk about and plenty of helpful advice freely available.
A keen pleasure and match angler, Danny is closely involved with a local angling club and has first-hand knowledge of most of the lakes and stretches of river which are available locally.
As a result of Danny's interest, Home Farm offers a range of fishing breaks for anglers including overnight and longer stays. For example, two anglers who share a room can enjoy a two-night 'Fishing Special' stay with bed and breakfast and two days fishing at Meadowlands for just £150.00 whilst a five day-five night 'Fishing Extra' break costs just £360.00 for two.
The price of the special breaks includes accommodation and full English breakfast in a twin bedded room at Home Farm plus transport to Meadowlands if required and all day tickets. Home Farm also has a secure lock-up for tackle storage. Anglers should note that advance booking is essential for the 'Fishing Special' and 'Fishing Extra' breaks.
Home Farm offers two single rooms, five doubles - two of which can be used as family rooms - and two twin-bedded rooms.
All rooms have spacious and modern fully-tiled en-suite bathrooms with power-showers whilst the rooms themselves are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities; and a television incorporating DVD player.
WiFi Wireless Internet connection is also available in many of the rooms, although guests requiring this facility should state this when booking. Wi-Fi connection is available throughout the downstairs rooms.
Downstairs there is a well-stocked fully-licensed bar which offers a wide selection of draught and bottled beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.
Being situated conveniently for Coventry, Leamington, Warwick, Kenilworth, Stratford-upon-Avon and Rugby means that Home Farm is a great base for touring the area which has plenty to offer the visitor with castles at Kenilworth and Warwick, plenty of National Trust properties, Shakespeare's Stratford and shopping centres in Stratford, Coventry and Leamington.
