Offering both modern, light and airy chalets and olde worlde half-timbered converted 17th century farm buildings which incorporate wooden beams and whitewashed walls, Docklow Pools is a delightful venue for angling breaks or angling holidays for individuals, groups of anglers and families.
Rooms can even be booked for longer term, particularly in winter when some regulars reserve space for several months at a time, giving them a pied-a-terre at affordable reduced winter rates.
In all there are some 17 cottages and three lodges, each with its own individual design and style.
They include:
Cosy Cottage: The smallest cottage which sleeps two, overlooks the pool and is full of oak beams.
Mill Cottage: Converted from the old corn mill and cottage, Mill Cottage overlooks the pool and canal and sleeps two people.
Poolside Cottage: Overlooking the pools and with a wealth of low oak beams, Poolside Cottage sleeps four people and has a separate lounge and kitchen diner.
